Puces 133 puts a twist on the concept of flea market. Seven artists have been granted free reins to play off of the liveliness and ambiguity of this ultimately dysfunctional flea market. Organized as part of the Festifolies en Armandie celebration, Puces 133 is an initiative whose purpose is to desynchronize, create dissonance or dialogue between the artists' practices.

Under the premise Chaque homme est une île (every man is an island), the tent of Puces 133 will hold as many tables occupied by the artists as there are singular individual islands. For two days the artists will be invited to inhabit this temporary space. It is in this communal, makeshift production shelter that each will bring their ideas and possibly meet in a common singularity.
